Oliver is a freelance writer and editor focusing on LGBTQ+ politics and culture. They are currently a contributing editor with Xtra Magazine, as well as assistant digital editor, audience editor, and podcast producer with Ms. magazine. Their work has appeared in Them, VICE, i-D, Bitch, The Nation and more. They were a contributor to the New York Times’ newsletter ‘The Edit.’

Oliver is passionate about reframing our understandings of romantic love, unlikely trans narratives, Frankenstein, and riding their bike really fast. They are currently based in the Bay Area, California.
